And he FAILED mentally too. He went loony due to Alzheimer's (although he went loony the day he had ideas above his station, a la Hitler - and HE FAILED).

ALL Dictatorships FAIL. Without Exception. Nazi Germany fell. Soviet Russia fell. Apartheid South Africa fell. Cuba will fall, as will North Korea.

Dictatorships FAIL from the start. Either from within, or without. Whether they last a day, a month, a year or a decade, their regime's existence is only delaying the inevitable; their FAILURE.

I don't understand why so many people have this idea that Pinochet was some sort of "bening dictator" or some shit like that. Like the other guy said, he was an inhuman asshole, like all dictators are.
